About The CopyCook Kitchen
Who writes the CopyCook Kitchen guides, how we write them and how this site is funded.
The CopyCook Kitchen is the cooking blog from CopyCook, an Australian app that turns messy recipe websites, social media posts and cookbook photos into clean, simple recipe cards.
We write practical guides for home cooks: how to save and organise recipes, how to scale and convert them, what to swap when you run out of an ingredient, and how to plan meals and shop without waste.
How we write our guides
- Measurements are metric, with cup and spoon equivalents where they help. We use Australian cups (250 ml) and tablespoons (20 ml) and say so when it matters.
- Conversion figures are approximate. Brands and how you measure change the result, so we recommend weighing ingredients for baking.
- When we compare apps, we say that we make CopyCook, describe the others from public information, and tell you where CopyCook falls short.
- Nutrition figures, where we give them, are estimates and not medical or dietary advice.
If you spot a mistake or something that does not work in your kitchen, please tell us at support@copycook.com.au. We update guides when we find a way to make them better.

About the CopyCook app
CopyCook lets you import a recipe from a link or a photo, browse a new themed Recipe Library every week, manage your pantry, check products for pesticides and seed oils, and estimate the macros in your meals. It is available on Google Play.
